Digital Sourcing’s CSR-programme includes some of the cosmetics industry’s most elaborate and advanced policies and standards covering animal testing, child labour, labour conditions, environmental impact and consumer satisfaction and that all internal and external stakeholders in our organisation must adhere to in order to consider themselves part of the Digital Sourcing family. 

 Animal testing 

We fight for and support a world free from animal testing and condemn and renounce any such practise by our suppliers and even their suppliers. We vigorously examine our suppliers to ensure that no product of Digital Sourcing has undergone animal testing.

 Child labour 

We fight for and support a world free from child labour and condemn and renounce any such use by our suppliers and even their suppliers.  We vigorously examine our suppliers to ensure our entire global supply chain is 100% free of child labour.

 General labour conditions 

We fight for and support to ensure all employees and contractors in both our own organisation as well as supplier’s organisations are treated equally and fairly regardless of race, political and sexual orientation and that both men and women alike receive fair pay for fair work. We strongly urge employers to accept and even promote comradeship and solidarity among workers in joining and building strong labour unions.

 Environmental impact

We fight for and support to ensure all internal and external stakeholders in our organisation adhere strictly to governing global environmental laws and standards on subjects such as carbon emission, use of toxins and dangerous chemicals, waste disposal, recycling and hazardous consumption. We furthermore prefer to select suppliers that have a proven engagement in actively reducing their environmental impact by subscribing to an independent control organisation capable of verifying the fruit of their efforts and positive social and environmental impact.
